Identify the post’s author or screen name, full date, post title, forum name, and URL. If there is no title, use up to the first 20 words of the post as the title. Add an appropriate bracketed description, such as [Online forum post].
Classroom discussion posts require attention to who can retrieve the source. For a course-only source, consider whether the intended readers have access. Do not publish classmates’ private posts or login information.
