Line spacing
Double-space the main text, quotations, and reference list. Avoid extra blank space between ordinary paragraphs or reference entries.
Tables, figure images, footnotes, and displayed equations have specific exceptions. In your word processor, check line spacing and paragraph spacing separately; choosing double spacing alone may leave unwanted paragraph gaps.
