Our Third Grandchild arrived July 7, 2022. Welcome to the World Saylor!
Our granddaughter was born at the same hospital where I worked for many years as well as Dave's Mom. Also this hospital is where our sons were born. We also talk about Herr Idiot Oompa Loompa and our hopes for the future (not Joe Biden). the BA-5 Covid variant is rampant and we still isolate as much as possible. Fires and floods and heat domes. 20th Anniversary of 911; My 68th Birthday; We get the booster (COVID)
Today is the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The videos/stories continue to mesmerize me and wishing we as Americans become united once again. I turned 68 and felt such love from my friends and family. Dave consulted with our physician and we decided to get the third shot (booster) for COVID which continues to be a nightmare in the US with hospitals rationing care. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime.

COVID Update, My Sister's 50th Wedding Anniversary and Chaos in the World
The world is being challenged. The Delta variant has created chaos between those who believe in the vaccination and those that do not. My sister and my brother-in-law would have been married 50 years ago today. She died 3 years ago. Other updates during these challenging times.

A Five Day Impeachment Trial for #45. The Third Year Anniversary of My Sister's Death.
The impeachment trial (second) lasted five days and #45 was acquitted by a vote of 57 to 43. The Democrats did a wonderful job and it was so disturbing seeing the videos of the insurrection. The defense attorneys were idiots and the majority of the Republicans voted based on party lines. We also talk about the 3rd year anniversary of the death of my sister. I miss her...

What a week-Bad News: Democracy in Crisis, A Phone Call to Georgia to Revise Votes, Assault on the Capital and a President that Commits Sedition. Good News: A Black Man and a Jew Win and Democrats Have Control of the Senate, House and Presidency.
So much to talk about as the events of the last week unfolded. A recorded phone call where Trump is asking the Secretary of State in Georgia to Find 11,780 votes to win the election. The runoff senator election results in both Democrat contenders winning and Trump and his family and Guiliani spearhead a coup on the Capital. COVID is out of control, especially in California. As of today, 373K have died in the U.S.
